Bowling Party/Camp Scrap 2014

Hey guys!  I am taking a class from May Flaum at her site Craft with May.  The class is called Camp Scrap 2014 and there are four classes.  I am only taking two.  I am enjoying it so much!! I love her classes! I learn so much from her!! Below is a layout I did for the class:

Frankly, this kind of layout scares me.  Believe me it looks nothing like May's! I am pretty please with it! The supplies I used are Bazzill Basics, Crate Paper, and Studio Calico.  Thanks for stopping by!!

Family Selfie/Colorful Creations

Hi Everyone! I hope everybody had a great fourth of July.  We did because we did not do a thing, but eat and swim! I did though get a lot of scrapping done this weekend, yeah me!  I did a layout for Colorful Creations July sketch.  Here is the sketch and my layout:

Here is a close up:

The red chevron is a technique using gel medium.  I used a chevron stencil and applied the gel medium.       I let it dry over night.  The next day I used Postbox Red Dylusion Ink Spray.  I sprayed some on my mat and used a paint brush to apply over the pattern.  I love the way it turned out!  The supplies I used are Heidi Swapp, Faber Castell, Ranger, Bazzill Basics, and Bella Blvd.  Thanks for stopping by!

Camp Scrap 2014

Happy Monday! I am super excited because Camp Scrap 2014 starts today! There is still time to register.  The talented May Flaum will be teaching four classes:  Art Journaling, By Design, Kit-Tastic, and Mixed Media.  You can register for all four or ever how many you want.  Me I am only taking two; By Design and Kit-Tastic. I am not into art journaling or mixed media.  But I have feeling I will be by next year!  I have taken several classes by May and I have learned so much! I love the fact that the content in the class stays there so I can go back and review if I need to.  Go to her site to check out the classes here.  Here are some items I have made from past classes I have taken with May:

Some turned out great, I think, and others not so good.  I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Stains, and Paint.  I also used Dylusions Ink Spray that has become a favorite of mine.  If you missed it, in March I posted some scrapbook layouts I did with some techniques that I learned from one of May's classes. You can see it here. Like I said before if you haven't go visit May Falum website and her class site. She has so much inspiration and I love the way she teaches!  Thanks for stopping by!
