Today

Another layout I did from May Flaum's class Creative Retreat Winter 2014 was from Lisa Dickinson.  I love this class! Can I say it again? I love this class!! Here is my layout:

This photo was taken this past Tuesday when the light dusting of snow turned into 2 inches and stuck.  Nobody was prepared! When we finally got home from school we had to park down the road and walk. Before going inside to get 'warm and toasty' I convinced my son to take a quick picture.  The supplies I used are Bazill, Little Yellow Bicycle, and Jellibean Soup.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like it!

Awesome!

Going on day for 4 of snow and getting lots of layouts done!  Aside from being outside and playing in the snow and entertaining my son, I have gotten a lot accomplished.  I will have about 3 post today! Whoo Hoo!!

This past week I took a class from May Flaum called Creative Retreat Winter 2014. I have loved this class!! It has definitely made me step out of my comfort zone.  The class had guest designers teaching new techniques and ideas! This layout is inspired from Rikka Kovasin.  I am going to do this type of layout again, but will practice on my handwriting first!

The supplies I used on this layout are:  Authentique, Bazzill, Studio Calico, Basic Grey, Lily Bee, Bella Blvd., Tape Works, Hero Arts, Heidi Stamp, Prima, Fancy Pants, My Mind's Eye, Craftsmart, Tim Holtz, and Tattered Angels.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Our Love Story/Sketch N Scrap Inspired Layout

Sketch N Scrap is trying something new.  They will feature a new sketch from Lisa or Kelly on the 10th of each month. The sketch will be a sketch that was 'inspired by' a layout created from a design team member.  I was intrigued by this sketch because of the long title.  Here is the sketch and my layout:

I originally wanted to use the quote "Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite."  I could not make it work with the letters I had so I shortened it.  The supplies I used are Fancy Pants, Tim Holtz, and Heidi Swapp.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Noise/Sketch N Scrap #49

Hello everyone! I did a layout using Sketch N Scrap's sketch for their mid month challenge.  I really liked this sketch.  I used pictures of my son from New Year's Eve making noise with party horns.  It doesn't matter the occasion he loves to make noise! Here is the sketch and my layout:

The supplies I used are We R Memory Keepers, Studio G, Tim Holtz, and Cosmo Cricket.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

One Little Word 2014

Have you ever participated in One Little Word with Ali Edwards?  Last year was my first year and I loved it.  It was a blessing in my life.  I never realized how one word could have such an impact on my life.  My word last year was revive.  After some very uncontrollable changes in my life and I wanted to revive my old self. My intentions were to revive my health, spirituality, attitude, confidence, relationships, finances, career, energy,  laughter, peace and my story.  Last year I started a new job, lost 15 pounds, found a peace, and new relationships.  What was ironic, I couldn't revive my old self because that wasn't me now. I had changed. I discovered a lot about myself.

This year I chose the word CREATE. I want to create joy, opportunities, healthy choices, space, and memories.  I can't wait to see what this year will bring!!

Friends/Layout for Scrapping Everyday Miracles

Hard to believe that January is here! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. It is time for Scrapping Everyday Miracles January reveal. I am so excited about this!! The Main Theme Challenge for January 1st is "Friends Forever."  The Bible verse for inspiration this month is Proverbs 17:17, "A friend loves at all times...." There is also a Layout Sketch Challenge with a sketch from Ashley Horton Designs and a Card Sketch Challenge with a sketch from Pagemaps.

Here is the sketch for the Layout Sketch Challenge and my first layout for SEM!!

For my layout I used the sketch, Bible verse and the theme.  Supplies used are Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic and Amy Tangerine Thickers.  I changed the size of the pictures from the sketch and used one space for journaling. This is why I love sketches!!  Be sure to check out Scrapping Everyday Miracles.  It is such a wonderful site full of inspiration.  Thanks for stopping by!
