Lorikeets/Let's Get Sketchy Week 4

Hi! I hope everyone had a good week.  I have a layout I did using Let's Get Sketchy sketch for week 4. Here is the sketch and my layout:

The supplies I used are Bazzill Basics, Hero Arts, Ranger Ink, and Lawn Fawn.  I stamped the border, flowers, birds and leaves and sprayed the two tags using dylusion ink.  Can you tell I LOVE dylusion ink?  On a separate piece of cardstock I stamped my title and painted them using dylusion ink.  I cute them out and adhered them to the green tag for my title.  This layout was totally different for me.  Ninety-nine percent of the time I use patterned paper.  I pushed myself to do something out of my comfort zone.  I was really pleased with the result.

Camp Scrap 2014/Gulfarium

Hi! I have been so inspired by Camp Scrap 2014 that I have been scrapping away!  As I said in my last post our challenge this week was to go across the page with our photos.  I did it on one page, but now two! I usually don't do two pages.  Here they are:

Nice and easy layouts! The longest part was decideding on what photos I wanted to use on this layout.  Thanks for stopping by!

Camp Scrap 2014/Little Monsters

Hey guys! Last week our challenge at Camp Scrap 2014 by the talented May Flaum,  was to go across the page (or up and down) with your photos.  This was a challenge for me because I usually do one photo one page.  These photos I probably would not have scrapbooked.  I had been trying for ten minutes to get these boys to pay attention to me and give me a smile, but they were acting like "little monsters"!!

The supplies I used are Bazzill Basics and Fancy Pants Designs.  Thanks for stopping by!

Seriously/123 Get Scrappy! #12

Hi! I hope everyone is having a great week!  123 Get Scrappy! has their July Board up for July.  I liked this board, it is nothing but colors!  Here it is with my layout:

I used embossing paste with a stencil. When the paste had dried I used Dylusions Ink Spray and brushed each "brick."  The colors I used are Calypso Teal, Lemon Zest, and Cut Grass.  I tried green, yellow and turquoise alphas, but it didn't look right. I went with the black Amy Tangerine Phrases.  This was defiantely something I never would have done.  I really am pleased with how this turned out!  I hope you like it to and thanks for stopping by!

Been 45 Days/Scrap YOUrself

Hi! I hope you are having a great week.  I will have to say that this layout was a struggle for me.  It is for Scrap YOUrself Challenge Blog.  The challenge is to use these colors:

This was not the direction I thought this was going in!  I like it because it is different from anything I have ever done.

To explain the title, it had been 45 days since I had smoked a cigarette. A HORRIBLE habit I picked up twenty "something" years ago.  I have quit, but it had never lasted this long except when I was pregnant with my son. That was the easiest time when I quit smoking. For the past year, my eight year old has begged me to quit smoking.  I finally decided to quit! It has been hard, but it gets easier everyday.

I hope you have a great week. Thanks for stopping by!
