It is Art/Scrap Our Stash Challenge

Scrap Our Stash Challenge blog has an interesting challenge this month. The challenge is to create a layout using the sketch below and to use from your stash add your choice of mist, paint, watercolors or gelatos. I love mist and paint but I rarely use it on my layouts. I was happy with this challenge. I chose to use mist on my layout.  The supplies I used are Bazzill Basics, Jenni Bowlin, Ranger and Echo Park. I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Pumpkin Patch/Let's Get Sketchy

I know I am behind! My weekends are the only time to scrap and my weekends are filled up right now. If they were not filled up I wouldn't have anything to scrapbook, right? The supplies I used on my layout are Little Yellow Bicycle and Authentique.  Here is the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy and my layout. I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Too Loud!/Paper Secrets

I did this layout using Paper Secrets sketch for a sketch challenge on their blog. The twist is to use alpha stickers.  I used pictures my husband took of my son at the time trials at Talladega Speedway.  As you can tell from the title he thought it was too loud! The supplies I used are American Crafts, Bo Bunny, Adornit and Basic Grey.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Open House/Sketch N Scrap

Sketch N Scrap's second challenge this month is a cute sketch.  I used pictures I took of my son at his second grade open house at school.  The supplies I used are Simple Stories, Jelli Bean Soup and Little Yellow Bicycle.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Homecoming Prince/Scrap Our Stash

The challenge at Scrap Our Stash is a Tic Tac Toe board.  Here is the board and my layout:

I chose arrows, chipboard and twine.  The stars are chipboard.  I used Basic Grey's Persimmon.  I love this collection!!!! I have been dying to use it!! I also used Jellibean Soup for part of the title.  This is a picture of my son who was picked as the Homecoming Prince for his class. He got a sash (the letters fell off during the parade) and a little trophy!! He was so excited and so was I!! I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!!

Family

For this layout I combined two challenges, Use Your Words and Paper Secrets.  First I want to say how much I am going to miss Use Your Words.  As a former teacher I thought this was a unique challenge blog.  I have thoroughly enjoyed it and hope that one day it will return.  (Hint, Hint). For their first challenge this month the word is family.  I loved the sketch by Paper Secrets and decided to use it for my layout.  Here is the sketch and my layout:

As some of you know I am scrapbooking my wedding.  I decided to use a photograph of my family, my mom, sister with me on my wedding day.  I used Country Boutique by Fancy Pants.  The burlap flower and rhinestones are from my stash.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Silly Boy/Boy Meets Girl

For the first challenge for About A Boy, the challenge is "Grunge."  Honestly, I wasn't sure about this, but I like the turnout.  I found this picture of my son when he was two. I can't believe he use to be this small. I started doodling on this trying different things and this is what I came up with.  All of it came from my stash.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

A Horse/Sketch N Scrap

New month means a new sketch at Sketch N Scrap.  Here is the sketch and my layout:

I used Carta Bella's Giddy Up.  This is such a cute line.  I also used Jillibean Soup for the title.  These pictures are of my son this past May when we went to visit a friend who has horses. He informed us that he wanted a horse for Christmas or his birthday. It didn't matter which he just wanted a horse! Thankfully he hasn't mentioned it again! I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!
