Mother's Day/Scrappy Friends Challenge

Hi! I have a layout I did for Scrappy Friends Challenge. I love this challenge because to me it really is a challenge to combine all 3! I LOVE it!!

I used the bottom row; chipboard (pink flower), washi tape (botton right corner) and enamel dots (yellow on flowers.)

This is my layout:

I used Crate Paper, American Crafts, Recollections and Bazzill Basics. I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!!

Moment/Sketch-N-Scrap #57

I have a layout I did for Sketch-N-Scrap's regular sketch challenge for the May.  Here is the sketch and my layout:

Of course I need to add journaling and I will do that later because it is private.  The supplies I used are Bazzill Basics, Tim Holtz and Basic Grey.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Anchor/Colorful Creations May 15th Challenge

Hi everyone! Here is a layout I completed for Colorful Creations second sketch for the month of May.  I need to add journaling and I am thinking about letting Noah do that.  This layout is about his participating in the second grade tug of war and he was the anchor.  (They won! Yeah!!)

The supplies I used are Bazzill Basics, Bella Blvd. and Tattered Angels.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!!

Surprise!/Sketch-N-Scrap Birthday Bash

Hi everyone! Sketch-N-Scrap's 2nd Birthday Bash Challenge is going on now! I have to tell you I am getting some layouts completed with lots of great inspiration from every challenge!!

For this layout I did, I combined some challenges:
I used 4 cards from We R Memory Keepers' Hip Hip horray! Albums Made Easy collection.  I love this collection! It was perfect for this challenge.  I used one to let my son write about his favorite birthday present and then I could write about it to.  The red one under the title is also a card.
I used sequins from Studio Calico. I loved using these on this layout and was a perfect embellishment!
For Lissa's Sketch challenge, I found this hard because I love all Sketch-N-Scrap's sketches!! I decided on #46 which was created by Lisa.  The sketch I used is below.

Here is my layout:

Other supplies I used are Bazzill Basics and Bo Bunny.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!!

Appreciate/Sketch-N-Scrap Inspired #5

This layout I did is from Sketch-N-Scrap's Inspired by Sketch.  This sketch is based on a layout by the DT member Evie. Here is the sketch and my layout:

The supplies I used are Simple Stories, Bazzill Basics, and American Crafts.  Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week. We surprised Noah's teacher with a gift/treat everyday!  She loved it and appreciated everything. I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Love O.E.S./Scrapping Everyday Miracles

Hi everyone! I hope everybody is enjoying their summer! We are out of school, finally! Let the fun begin!! I have a layout I did for Scrapping Everyday Miracles June's Sketch challenge.  Here is the sketch and my layout:

The supplies I used are Crate Paper, Studio Calico, Bazzill Basics and Tim Holtz.  This sketch has several places for pictures and a lot of space to journal.  This was perfect for what I wanted to scrapbook.  This is my son's last year at his elementary school.  He will be going into the 3rd grade so he will now be attending a new school.  He is my only one so I am feeling a little sad.  I used pictures of him from Kindergarten to Second Grade.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

The Cake

Hi everyone!  Believe it or not I actually combined challenges on this layout!! I never do this!! Here is my layout:

I am entering this layout into 123 Get Scrappy! the May tic-tac-toe challenge #10.  I used the diagonal down; no flowers, birthday theme, and a blue background.  Here is the tic-tac-toe board:

If you haven't heard Sketch-N-Scrap's turning 2 this month.  To celebrate, along with their 5 regular sketches, they are having challenges from their DT members on their blogs.  This layout I did is based on two of the challenges from Sketch-N-Scrap's birthday bash. Kerry has a tic-tac-toe challenge.  I used the center down: twine, birthday photo, and bunting. Here is her board:
I also combined Kerry's challenge to Jennifer's birthday bash challenge.  Her challenge is to scrap lift her layout and you can use any theme you want to. Go to her blog to check out her beautiful layout. I turned it on the side and placed my embellishments in different places. I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Morning Mess/Colorful Creations

Hi! I have a layout that I completed for Colorful Creations.  Here is their sketch and my layout:

The supplies I used are Studio Calico, Tim Holtz, and Chic Tags.  I rotated the sketch and used one photo instead of two.  The photo I used is the "mess" from Christmas morning after my son has opened up his presents.  I decided to use a quote from Andy Rooney instead of journaling.  The quote is "One of the most glorious messes in the world is the mess created in the living room on Christmas day.  Don't clean it up too quickly."  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Party Time/Sketch-N-Scrap #56

For the main sketch challenge, here is the sketch and my layout:

The supplies I used are Bo Bunny, American Crafts, and Bazzill Basics. Since Sketch-N-Scrap is celebrating their birthday, I decided to do a layout on my son's 8th birthday.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

OWL/Scrapping Everyday Miracles

Hi! I hope every is having a good week.  It is the first of the month so it is time for Scrapping Everyday Miracles new challenge for the month of May.  The May theme is Renew, New, or Rebirth - all things made new.  The Scripture Inspiration is:  2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
I used the sketch to complete a layout. Here is the sketch and my layout:

The supplies I used are Fancy Pants and Becky Higgins.

OLW stands for One Little Word.  Last year I took Ali Edwards' One Little Word class. The concept is to choose a word that will inspire you for the next year.  When I lost my job I back tracked on my personal goals. I chose the word Revive. I wanted to revive the laughter and confidence I use to have. I wanted to revive my spirituality and my career. I wanted to revive my health and MY story.  I did!! Well, some of it.  I did reconnect with God, got a new job, and gained more confidence.  I wanted to do a layout on my word because it means so much to me.

If you haven't stop my Scrapping Everyday Miracles.  There are three challenges to choose from or you can do all three!  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!
