Layouts from Softer Side Class

Hello Everyone!  I wanted to share two layouts that I did a couple of days ago from a class that I took from soapHOUSEmama called The Softer Side.  I really enjoyed this class learning new techniques.  Be sure to stop by her website, Purplemailbox.com to check out her work!

This is the first layout, Biggest Cheerleaders.  The pictures are not the greatest.  My husband took them while I was running in my first 5K.  The pictures are of my son and my mom waiting on me to cross the finish line.  I wished I had a picture of my husband at the 5K.  Here are some close ups:

The supplies I used are Amy Tangerine, Studio Calico, American Crafts, and some other supplies in my stash.

The second layout is a picture of me when I was 14 or 15.  This was a popular style back then, the long skirts, sweaters and the bob hairstyle.  Photographs from back then are usually dark or yellowish.  I loved the technique of lightening the layout.  Here are some close ups:

Some of the supplies are Basic Grey, Crate Paper, Studio Calico.  Be sure to stop by the Purplemailbox.com to check out her work.  Thanks for stopping by!
