Love This/Sketch N Scrap Sketch Reveal

Hello! I have a layout I want to share with you that I did for the 15th Sketch N Scrap reveal for February.  Here is this awesome sketch and my layout:

This layout is of my precious son.  At his school, there is a new behavior program called HALO.  If they are 'caught' being extremely good or doing something unselfish, etc., they recieve a HALO ticket.  When they get so many they can trade them for different things like being teacher of the day, eat lunch with the principal, etc.  Noah had 25 HALO tickets which he could have turned in to be teacher of the day, but he used 15 tickets so he could go to the Small Group Setting to do an art project with them.  This was a PROUD mama moment!! Both of his teachers bragged about him as well as the teachers in the small group setting.  They sent me these pictures of him. He had a great time working with them!  I used some die cut circles and covered the other students' faces.
The supplies I used are from Jillibean Soup.  Instead of a circle I used two square cards in which I used for journaling.

Third Place Fun Run/Scrappy Friends Challenge

Hello friends! I have a layout that I want to share with you that I did for the Scrappy Friends Challenge.  I have listed below each challenge with the link to their blog.  Here are the challenges:

You can chose either sketch.  I used the one on the left.

From the board you can use anything that inspires you from the pictures.  I chose children and stars.

I used twine.

Here is my layout that I created using all three challenges:

The supplies I used are from Jillibean Soup and Ranger Ink.  These pictures are from my son winning third place in a Fun Run.  My mom took these pictures of him getting his medal and with my friend Heather who was over the Fun Run.  I was so proud of him!!  If you are interested in a great challenge be sure to check out the Scrappy Friends Challenge.  Thanks for stopping by!!

Feeding Bulwagi/Stuck?! Jan 15 Sketch Challenge

Hello! I have a layout that I want to share with you that I did for the second sketch challenge from Stuck?!.  Here is the sketch and my layout:

I decided to use only 2 photos instead of four like the sketch.  I made the photographs bigger.  The supplies I used are Bo Bunny, Ranger Ink, and Amy Tangerine.
These photos are of my son feeding Bulwagi, an African male elephant at the zoo.  On the day we visited a zoo keeper  had cut up apples and let the kids throw them inside Bulwagi fence.  Bulwagi loved picking up the apples! It was a treat for him as it was for my son! He loved it!

First 5K/Sketch N Scrap January 15th Reveal

Hello everyone! It is the 15th so you know what that means...it is time for Sketch N Scrap's sketch reveal.  Here is the sketch that was designed by Kelly and my layout:

As you can see I turned the sketch.  The supplies I used are from Moxxie, American Crafts, Doodlebug Designs and Prima.
This is a picture of my first 5k.  I have been on a health kick since January of last year and started running.  With encouragement from my family and my boot camp instructor I entered the 5K and finished it.  I was nervous that I could not finish it but I did.  With my practice runs I had been running in 45 minutes.  I finished in 41 minutes.  I placed 6 in my age group, 67 in gender and 162/245 in overall.  I have to admit I was proud of myself!
