Read Across America/Stuck?! March 1st Layout

Hello Scrappy Friends! Hope everyone is well and find some time to scrap! I found some time this weekend to use this great sketch from Laura at Stuck?! sketches blog challenge.  Here is the sketch and my layout:

Here is a close up:

To be honest, I tried several different papers to use with this sketch and nothing looked right to be.  The pictures were not great, I had an unwilling participant!  I wanted bright cheerful colors because of  Dr. Seuss.  I decided to use Ranger Ink Distress Paint in place of the paper.  I had some left over Dr. Seuss themed stickers I had bought for my son a couple of years ago.  I had added some of them to cardstock so I could pop dot it.  Other supplies I used are Kaisercraft, Fancy Pants Designs, Ranger Ink, Tim Holtz, and Bella Blvd.
As some of you know this past week was Read Across America to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday.  It is more celebrated in the elementary schools than other schools.  I had to beg my son to pose with these pictures for me.  As he gets older it is harder for me to get pictures of him.  I will take what I can get!

Love This/Sketch N Scrap Sketch Reveal

Hello! I have a layout I want to share with you that I did for the 15th Sketch N Scrap reveal for February.  Here is this awesome sketch and my layout:

This layout is of my precious son.  At his school, there is a new behavior program called HALO.  If they are 'caught' being extremely good or doing something unselfish, etc., they recieve a HALO ticket.  When they get so many they can trade them for different things like being teacher of the day, eat lunch with the principal, etc.  Noah had 25 HALO tickets which he could have turned in to be teacher of the day, but he used 15 tickets so he could go to the Small Group Setting to do an art project with them.  This was a PROUD mama moment!! Both of his teachers bragged about him as well as the teachers in the small group setting.  They sent me these pictures of him. He had a great time working with them!  I used some die cut circles and covered the other students' faces.
The supplies I used are from Jillibean Soup.  Instead of a circle I used two square cards in which I used for journaling.
